Danvitas er en del af Vitamed AS-virksomheden i Norge, som har været aktiv på området siden 2004. Vitamed AS opererer under Pharmatech AS, en anerkendt norsk virksomhed med over 40 års erfaring i produktion af kosttilskud. Navnet DanVitas har en væsentlig betydning for os, da virksomheden repræsenterer vores nordiske oprindelse, som arbejder med kosttilskudsprodukter.

Virksomheden har stærke skandinaviske rødder med et kæmpe ønske om at producere nordiske kosttilskud til alle. Vores team bruger de seneste videnskabelige og teknologiske gennembrud til at producere vores produkter.

Our product manager, nutritionists, chemists, laboratory technicians with many years of experience in the field are part of the team to ensure the necessary standards. All the products are HACCP and FDA approved, which further guarantees our work. We have state-of-the-art comprehensive testing and R&D facilities that establish the products’ quality, standard and innovation. Executive Marketing Manager

It is with great honor that we introduce Professor Peter Felen as the Executive Marketing Manager for DanVitas. Professor Felen currently serves as the Director of the MBA program at the International Business School for Pharmacists and holds a Master of Science degree. His expertise lies in pharmacy education, with a particular focus on integrating business management and pharmaceutical sciences. His extensive work includes training and mentoring pharmacists in various facets of pharmacy practice, communication, and collaboration within the healthcare sector. He has been instrumental in developing and leading courses that address contemporary challenges in pharmacy through innovative approaches such as digitalization, business innovation, and change management.

With over 35 years of experience in the field, Professor Felen brings unparalleled insight and practical wisdom to Danvitas, aiding the organization in achieving its goals. In his role, he will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies, encompassing market research, competitive analysis, and goal setting. His significant contributions are anticipated to drive the company’s growth and market presence by effectively promoting products and services and enhancing the brand image.

Over the past decades, end consumers have become more and more environmentally conscious. According to surveys, more and more consumers believe that companies should take responsibility and act quickly to take care of the environment. The environment and the global climate are an important issue for all consumers, and they are willing to pay more for an environmentally friendly or more sustainable product.

There is significant development across most packaging companies in various segments, which confirmed their continued commitment to sustainability and environmental issues. There is a clear implication for continuing to thrive into the greener future through all kinds of manufacturers, including the nutritional supplements. We are doing our best to work more in a sustainable direction to have a better impact on our global climate change.

TOTOX VALUE

The TOTOX (Total Oxidation) value is a measure that indicates the oxidation state of fats and oils, combining both primary and secondary oxidation products. It helps assess the freshness and quality of oils, including fish oils, which are sensitive to oxidation. A lower TOTOX value suggests minimal oxidation, reflecting the oil’s freshness and desirable characteristics. Generally, a TOTOX value below 26 is acceptable for fish oils, with values under 10 considered very fresh.
